Trophy Award Ideas

Give viewers something worth putting on the shelf. A trophy can celebrate a milestone, a great moment, or an inside joke that has gone on far too long.

These are ideas for your channel, not built-in award triggers. You can award trophies manually from Manage Trophies, or use bot automation when your tool supports the event or tracks the milestone. A viewer must have added your shelf before you can award them a trophy.

Chat participation

  • Right Place, Right Game: A viewer participates in chat while you are streaming a specific game or category.
  • Secret Handshake: A viewer types a secret word in chat. Hide a clue on stream and let viewers figure it out.
  • Roll Call: A viewer joins a check-in during your channel anniversary or another special stream.
  • Actually Helpful: A viewer offers a tip that finally gets you past a difficult section, when you have asked for help.
  • Quote of the Night: A viewer says something so funny that it becomes the stream's newest inside joke.

Showing up

  • Still Here: A viewer reaches a watch streak of 50 or more streams.
  • Regular Fixture: A viewer attends ten community nights over the course of a season.
  • Day One: A viewer participates in the first stream of a new series.
  • Saw It Through: A viewer is there for the finale of a game or a long-running challenge.
  • Back for More: A viewer returns for your next channel anniversary after earning last year's trophy.

For attendance and watch-streak ideas, decide how you will confirm the milestone, such as a viewer sharing it or a tool tracking it. Trophy Case does not automatically track viewing history.

Supporting the channel

  • Gift Wrapped: A viewer gifts five subscriptions during a stream.
  • Double Digits: A viewer reaches ten gifted subscriptions over a period you define.
  • One-Year Club: A viewer reaches a twelve-month subscription milestone.
  • Community Builder: A viewer contributes to a community goal and helps it reach the finish line.
  • Good Cause: A viewer supports a charity event you are hosting.

Games and challenges

  • Quiz Boss: A viewer wins a trivia round about your channel or the game you are playing.
  • Called It: A viewer correctly guesses how many attempts a challenge will take before it begins.
  • Co-op Carry: A viewer helps your team finish a difficult community-game challenge.
  • Personal Best: A viewer beats their own record in a community challenge.
  • Last One Standing: A viewer wins a community tournament or game night.

Secrets and discoveries

  • Eagle Eyes: A viewer spots a hidden symbol in your stream layout.
  • Lore Keeper: A viewer solves a riddle about an old stream moment.
  • Treasure Hunter: A viewer follows a series of clues and finds the final answer.
  • First Contact: A viewer is the first to solve a puzzle you reveal on stream.
  • You Found the Thing: A viewer discovers an easter egg you planted in a community project.

Creativity and community

  • Gallery Material: A viewer submits fan art for a community showcase.
  • Clip Historian: A viewer submits a clip chosen for your end-of-month highlights.
  • Naming Rights: A viewer suggests the winning name for a character, pet, or community project.
  • Good Neighbor: A viewer helps another viewer learn the rules or get involved in a community event.
  • Against All Odds: A viewer completes a ridiculous, harmless challenge you invented together, such as drawing your mascot with their eyes closed.

Make the idea your own

Choose a trophy name and image that fit your channel. Put the qualifying rule in the trophy's How to Earn description so viewers know what they are working toward, or leave a clue for a secret trophy.

Be specific about the goal. Does gifting five subscriptions mean in one stream or across the whole month? Does a challenge reward the first viewer to finish, everyone who finishes, or a chosen winner?

For recurring events, create a distinct trophy for each edition if you want viewers to collect more than one. Awarding the same trophy again does not give a viewer another copy.
