Privacy Policy

Trophycase.gg operates and hosts its website and Twitch extension in the United States. We use your information to run your collection, deliver showcases, and keep the service safe.
We do not sell your information or use advertising trackers. We never receive your Twitch password or payment-card details.
What we keep
- Your Twitch profile: user ID, names, profile-image link, and account/login dates. We do not request your Twitch email.
- Your Trophy Case activity: uploaded images and descriptions, earned trophies, shelves, settings, notifications, and moderation records. We remove personal image metadata, such as location and camera details, before storing uploads.
- Access and Bits records: saved permissions, Award Keys, and showcase transactions, including the viewer, channel, trophy, animation, amount, and timing. These support account access and prevent duplicate redemptions.
- Reports you submit: your report details, contact email, relevant trophy reference, and messages exchanged with admins. Messages retain the sender’s name and role. These are private to you and administrators.
- Technical records: IP addresses, request timing, and error logs for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and retry interrupted showcases. We do not record your Twitch chat, whispers, or viewing history.
What is public or shared
Your displayed collection, Twitch name, and profile image are public. Trophy details can show who created or earned them, serial numbers, and award dates. Streamers receive award and shelf-addition notifications. Showcases may display your name and trophy on broadcasts that others can record.
Hiding a trophy is not deleting it. Once earned, its image may remain publicly accessible. Administrators can review hidden trophies and account information for support and moderation.
Twitch handles login and Bits; hosting and backup providers help run the service. Twitch-hosted images and extension software receive connection information, including your IP address. Twitch and bots you choose have their own privacy practices and may process information outside the US. See Twitch's Privacy Notice.
We may share relevant records when legally required or to investigate abuse and protect the service.
Optional: Find Shelves
Only with your permission, we check your followed channels for Trophy Case accounts. We save matching IDs and encrypted connection credentials, not your full following list or follow history. Matches expire after 24 hours.
Turn Off Discovery removes that connection and its matches; your added shelves stay. You can also revoke access in Twitch Connections; we clear credentials when we next detect the revocation.
How long we keep it
Your account and collection stay until removed, even if you stop visiting.
- Read ordinary notifications: 90 days after reading. Unread notices, moderation notices, and Updates stay until separately removed or your account is deleted.
- Completed showcases: 24 hours after ending.
- Bits transaction details: 90 days, then only an irreversible transaction fingerprint to block reuse.
- Submitted reports and messages: kept for administrator review until separately removed. A fixed deletion schedule for reports is not yet in place.
- Closed moderation history: one year without further action, after image cleanup. Active restrictions and records specifically held for investigation or legal reasons may stay longer.
- Logs: about 14 days. Older entries in the shared server log follow the host's existing rotation rules.
- Backups: 30 days. Cleanup is scheduled, so removal can take until the next run.
Your choices and contact
You can change settings, remove shelves, delete eligible trophies, and delete your account after Twitch verification and confirmation. Account deletion also removes every trophy you created from other users' collections. Disconnecting Twitch alone does not delete your account.
Backups expire on the schedule above. Minimal records remain without automatic expiry to prevent deleted data returning, block reused Bits transactions, and enforce active bans. Records under a specific retention hold may also remain. Older notifications may contain names we can no longer match to an account.
For questions, access to your information, corrections, or deletion help, email me@teamchucks.com. We may need to verify ownership. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including objecting to data use or contacting your privacy regulator.
We will update this page and its date when our practices change.
